Explore Ullswater in comfort with expert tuition using a two person sea kayak or canoe. Get the best view and explore hidden bays and islands, and see Ullswater from a different perspective.
After safety briefing and demonstration, you’ll head out from our private jetty into Ullswater.
It’s a great opportunity to connect with nature with a chance of seeing, or hearing, herons, cormorants, oystercatchers, buzzards, sparrowhawks, tawny owls and if you’re lucky the blue dart of a kingfisher. Learn from your instructor about the wildlife living above the surface and swimming in the depths below.

Rafted canoeing is a fun, safe way to experience Ullswater. By using two canoes tied together, it creates our most stable craft and allows groups to paddle together.
This session is open to all and is recommended for families.
Its great way to see Ullswater as a family or group. This session can be tailored for children, with games along the way to add to the fun and enjoyment.

The Archery Experience is a fully instructed 60 minute outdoor archery session. Your guide will teach you the correct way to handle a bow and arrow before you step up to the firing line to test your aim! The session will include fun scoring games and challenges along the way. It’s a perfect activity for beginners and experts alike!
